The Boxer Crab, also known as the Pom-Pom Crab wears anemonies on it's claws that it uses for catching food and fending off predators. They get the anemonies on their claws by coaxing the anemonies into releasing from their sedentary home by massaging them. The relationship between the two is debatably mutualistic, how much the anemone actually benefits from this is not completely clear. I higly recommend the Octopus Lady's video on them.

Pt2 of Floyd leech x pomefiore! Sensitive skin!reader

Flight lessons. Your first class of the day. Jeez.. why did Crowley have put god damn flight lessons first thing in the morning? So stupid. Ah, the infamous Octotrio, who all hate flight lessons are in the same class as you! Maybe this is a good chance for you to befriend Floyd, if he’s in a good mood of course. Behind you, you hear coach Vargas sternly telling off Azul, Jade and.. you guessed it, Floyd. “Coach.. I’m sure we can make a deal that would benefit us both. We get out of these.. lessons and you get new equipment.” Azul sounds calm.. but he’s likely freaking out about being that high off the ground. Floyd looks agitated. Great, just your luck. As you turn around, Vargas commands you to come over and help teach the three sea dwellers how to fly (his exact words.). You’re not much better with this flying thing! But.. it does give a chance to get closer with Floyd and ensure you get that damn moisturiser. “Sure coach..” Gee, don’t you sound thrilled.

As you approach, you see those same slightly pink cheeks from Floyd, he also seems slightly more annoyed? Like he’s embarrassed. You watch him lean over to Jade, grumbling about how he’ll look stupid flailing around the place like a fish on land. “Alrighty.. Uhm.. grab the stick like this, and try to stay somewhat calm. You’re not in the sky yet.” You speak as calmly as you can, flying freaks you out as well, thankfully housewarden Vil taught you to stay calm no matter what. You spot a slight tremble in Floyd’s hands as he latches onto the stick. Jesus, his grip on that stick isn’t much different than how he squeezes people. Octavinelle’s housewarden isn’t much better, he’s barely gripping the stick. Jades trying to mask his fear, I mean.. it’s a start. “Slowly put it between your legs, but don’t try to kick off yet. Just try to adjust to the general feeling of the stick,” This is an awful explanation, but it’s better than nothing. “I don’t wanna do this anymore Azul! It’s so dumb..” Your legs start moving on their own, making a beeline towards an irritated eel. This might lead to your demise. Your hands wrap around his stick, adjusting it for him. “That should be more comfortable. Hopefully..” As you look up at him, he has a weird expression. Eyes wide, cheeks even more pink. His mouth is open slightly, allowing you see those sharp teeth of his. It’s not even just his fangs that are sharp, it’s all of his teeth. Creepy, but.. no. You can’t think like that. This is Floyd Leech we’re talking about. Weirdly enough, he leans closer, staring uncomfortably at you. “I-is everything alright..?” Your voice has never trembled this much since.. well it never has. “Angelfishy.. what do ya’ think you’re doin’?” Did you kick him off into a bad mood? Well an even worse mood.
