THE MATRIX | LUYTAN

You’ve always been a bit of an odd-ball, going against the curve more than once in your life. History has told you inventors aren’t treated kindly by those around them. They call you complex, but really you’re not too different from any of the species which inhabit the earth. Same eyes, different perspective. You see the world as it is, as a puzzle full of bullshit you see no reason to solve. There are other things you’d rather spend your time playing with, anyway.

CONNECTIONS

THE COG: Androids are your species claim to fame, but nobody’s figured out how to reprogram the original generation since the two inventors passed away. They’re hesitant to help you in your endeavor, but let you poke around inside them anyway. Nothing but a specimen, a relic of ages past to test for your next generation of robots. Their feelings mean little to you.

THE ANDROID: They’re hailed as the perfect combination of human and Luytan engineering, but you have your doubts about that. There’s something about them that just doesn’t seem right, seems slightly off. Of course, you’re not important enough to be let near them, so you’ll simply have to watch them from a distance. For now.

THE CLONE: They were supposed to be a fascination, something different from the typical Tau they saw every day. They weren’t like the robots you were used to working with, they had wants, needs and feelings of their own. Soon you found yourself spilling other things besides ideas of grandeur, and you didn’t mind in the least. Losing them would leave you alone again, an idea that becomes scarier and scarier the more you learn about them.
