Hey folks, we have some sad news. After some deliberation, we’ve decided to close All The Worlds for now and place the roleplay on indefinite hiatus. At the moment, Cameron has other real life responsibilities outside of the roleplay, which leaves him little time and energy to dedicate to admining. With the nature of the roleplay as it is, it’d be really difficult to continue and keep up with only a single admin. As much as both of us would like to continue the roleplay, it just isn’t feasible at the moment.

Despite our short run, we’re so thankful to all our dedicated members who’ve kept us strong and active up until the end. We’ve all met so many wonderful people and fell in love with all of your characters. Roleplay with all of you guys has been a trip.

While all the characters are your own writing and of your own creation, we’d ask that our writing, lore and graphics not be used in another group roleplay or in independent roleplay. If there’s threads or stories you’d like to continue past closure, feel free. It’d just be in more of a 1x1 capacity.

We’ll be keeping the skype group chat up if you’d still like to use it, as well as the ooc blog on tumblr.

We don’t allow full ocs, but our skeletons are super open ended! I’d recommend checking through our open skeletons and seeing if any of the descriptions could fit your oc. One of the characters I play (Gabriel Astor) is actually an old OC I had that I tweaked a bit to fit the skeleton and rp, so it’s totally doable.

which open skeletons are coded to be on the younger side?

For the most part, the age of the skeleton is up to the player! So most of the skeletons are super open ended age wise. Some that are specifically coded younger The Dopler and The Quanta. There are a lot of other open skeletons that have a large age range, though. You could play most of them on the younger side.

How long does a reservation lasts?I'm on vacation til the 25 so I'm trying to plan out my app.

Reservations last 24 hours (sometimes plus a few hours depending on how busy we are) or until the person who submitted the reservation submits there app. Reservations also don’t prevent anyone from applying, nor does it guarantee you’ll be accepted.

At this time, we also don’t decide on skeletons with only one application outside of the regular acceptance times.

Is the Cache open again, or is an acceptance underway?

The Cache is currently being held while the applicant makes some changes to the bio. So we’re currently not accepting any applications for The Cache. The skeleton is basically closed, we’re just waiting for some edits so we can post the acceptance and update the post and pages on the blog.

Edit: I made a mistake and thought this was asking about The Clone. The Cache is still open for applications.

The most major rite of passage among the Centaurians is when they choose their new name and enter into adulthood, which happens when they hit puberty. There’s also the initiation into the Secondae, which not every Centaurian goes through. The Luytan have a large celebration when people finish the mandatory amount of schooling (which isn’t enforced on Earth), which happens at around 20 years of age. Marriage amongst the Luytan is also very important, as it means the creation of a new family unit. Tau Cetians have arranged marriages, so marriage is the equivalent of entering into adulthood for them and happens after the age of 18. An arrangement can be made before the two people involved come of age, but actual marriage can’t happen until adulthood.

hello! I loved the RP and was wondering if cyborgs are a thing in this universe, and if you'd have any bios that could accomodate the concept.

In the typical sense, there aren’t any cyborgs in the universe. No one is really part machine part living organism. Saying that, medical technology has advanced quite far, and nearly all prosthetic limbs are robotic. There are also technological bodymods, but they’re incredibly uncommon because they’re expensive, have to be surgically inserted, and are looked down upon by society. They’d also be mainly for aesthetic purposes, as opposed to being useful technology. Both the body mods and prosthetics could be a part of pretty much every skeleton besides the androids.
