Nowadays, I find Tumblr a really hard place to gather an audience/ make friends if you're intrests is outside of the already super popular and mainstream, or safe. Whether it be liking characters, ships, or certain tropes.

EX: I can post about Solo Sikoa all day, and no one cares unless I'm already talking about the more popular "hotter "dudes like Roman or Jey. No one wants to give the fat funny chud a chance lol

Solo Sikoa can and already has great shippable relationships with many people outside his blood, but no one cares or wants to hear anyone out because he isn't the muscular, sexy mold.

And ofc no one HAS to like Solo Sikoa. If his character isn't for you, then that's fine. But half the time people just be fat shaming lol, and they don't even try to hide it. If Solo were skinnier or more muscular, I'm so sure his fan reception on here and Twitter would be so different

finally watched the tribal combat roman vs. solo match. i'm emotionally devastated. "i loved you, but you didn't love me. you never loved me." is such a perfect summary of solo's entire dynamic with the bloodline. his family never loved him, none of them did, except jacob, and sami if you count him. the usos always did, and always will, love each other more than they love their baby brother. roman never even hesitated to use solo, use his pain, use his love to get to the top and stay there. and what did solo ever get in return? not words of affection. not warm hands to touch him. not even a smile his way. solo sikoa was an object to his own family. the living weapon. that's why he always looks so griefstricken, so distraught; he loved a family that never loved him back.

that's why the mft. that's why "i loove you, solo.", "ofa atu, solo. i love you." that's why it matters.
