You know those scenes in media where the villain gets redeemed or w/e so they get shown having other hobbies in the future?

if they ever convinced MMonarch to stop it with the gene shit (not happening, but lets say hypothetically) eir alternative hobby to that would totally be reptile breeding. Morph breeding and all that. They like reptiles, they want to play god, they like having pets but didn't have time to keep any before, and now that the troll eugenics are out of their schedule they can have some. Plus the reptiles look way cooler and Mon can actually directly interact with them and like them (because lets be real, they'd like the reptiles way more than they ever liked most of their descendants.)

Because of her immortality and funds and all that she can also absolutely be an elitist about it and have a huge leg up which is a plus. Like because of that teal can literally discover/develop new reptile morphs, and gatekeep if teal wants. He likes being the best at things, I can totally see him being a massive elitist about it
