I was thinking that the black and white shot of the brothers might be their first kill
the fact it is in B&W, the hair is different so to maybe show they are younger and the almost reluctant expressions makes me think it could be their first job, the first ever target they were assigned to take down
but just like you I might be reading too much into it but the choises of filter and style feels relevant
also the fact Bison is in total black and not his eclectic and funky clothes and colors seems deliberate
Oh good thought! I was actually thinking the opposite where the B&W shot occurred later when perhaps Bison/Fadel got betrayed? And so Bison changed his colour to be more somber/darker to reflect the change.
However, I absolutely agree with you that the the colouring/hair styles/filter are deliberate in choice.
It will be interesting to see if the B&W shot will be a flashback or future foreshadowing…
Also, I’m taking the opportunity to say how much I love the coloring and cinematography of the series so far (plus not much ads?, which I always appreciate).
Can’t wait for the next episode!
