Life hack: When you start to talk to a friend about a fandom you’re both in, let them know how far into the story you are so nobody accidentally spits spoilers.
#especially for older things which people are going to assume you've finished#if it's ten years old and you say you like it people are probably going to accidentally think that means you've been through it all#I always try to be careful but I've accidentally done spoiling myself for people who started talking in a way that made it seem they'd seen#the whole thing#I don't want to do that to you#and I hate doing that to you because I try to be careful but I fuck up and I' sorry#and I've had it done to me#many times#but there's also#the nice security#of knowing#who's where#ugh#right from the start of a convo#[internal screaming]#I mean there's always trying to be careful and I do TRY#and I think I'm much more careful than most#but we all make mistakes and just coming in and saying where you are [sigh]#it saves so many problems#basically I'm just very frustrated right now#I've had about 10 friends start to watch FMAB for the first time or rewatching FMAB#I *CANNOT* keep track of who is where especially if you start talking to me about FMAB for the first time#and I didn't know#you hadn't seen it before#though on the plus side#I'm' really excited#I've pulled so many friends into this for a first time runthrough <3#sorry just grumpy and frustrated at myself and everything rn sorry I just#care a lot about this story and no one deserves a spoiler for it#guys I talk to hundreds of people online and I love and remember you but I cannot keep everything straight!!!
