Edwina “Edie” Cooper (The N.N.): Edie is in the midst of a lengthy conversation with her house. Given the fact that she’s v much convinced herself she was born imagination-less, she’s more or less decided that this whole thing is a likely consequence of that bump to her head against the corner of her freezer door.

Cacophony (The N.N.): Trusted the wrong witch with her revenge plot and got turned into a hairless cat. Doesn’t get much weirder than that.

Gregory K. Fray (The N.N.): Never got over his brief relationship with Edie. Possibly falling in love with a woman who spent an unspecified number of years as a cat?

Fray: a seer with a passion for dark beer and a frustrating inability to accept the past. Motivated by the sudden knowledge of a tragic future, Velvet is forced to escape the safety of her kitchen for a magical, dangerous journey. Joined by her powerful friend Estelle and (reluctantly) her ex-boyfriend Gregory, Velvet must confront the uncomfortable realities of all of their lives—before it's too late.
