okay my mean phconfession is i just know the phouse smells AWFUL. like it's not stanky nor sweaty but it's got that New House Smell and the perpetual odor of Drying Plaster is stuck in their blankets. they try to burn candles but it doesn't help and the smell only stacks to give it a Opening Day Bath & Body Works location burn. if phan released the Phouse as a phragrance the opening notes would be a Home Depot and the dry down would be aloe, saw dust, mildew, plastic, and cardamom. from a jar phil knocked over.
that is like the most normal slightly elevated but basic design choice those men have made in their house 😭😭😭 like is this people just liking plain grey or??? what am i missing! i feel kinda like i am in an alternate universe here cos surely the general phannie can't think that is that abnormal, even if they don't like it and it isnt for them, it is kinda everywhere rn as a look. you can google "dark red bathroom" and "dark red limewash bathroom" rn to see the vision! - love from tumblr user @anewphan
it is SO normal. like that’s a color my straight white parents have in their bathroom here in the US lmao
I’m glad I’m not the only one baffled by the reaction them sharing that color got out of a lot of the people in the phandom 💀
you’re right it’s VERY in style right now which feels like an abnormal thing for them. but even if it’s not your particular style it’s not a bad/ugly color. especially once you see it on a wall and not just as a color sample on a card.
Tbh I find the posts dragging their design choices/house layout weird - they’ve literally paid for it to look like that because it’s THEIR house! Why would they have a bigger kitchen when they never cook/use it? Let them live their design dreams!!
anon you get it!! they clearly designed it exactly how they wanted it (as they should!!! good for them!!) and are now decorating it exactly how they want!!
why do people hate fun and whimsy and eccentricity.
Tbf I do think this time people are overacting it's an orangish red lime wash it doesn't look bad if you're into darker tones in your house

My in law's house has a room with this colour and it's fine, too dark for my preference but it's not bad.
anon I agree! some of their design choices are a bit eccentric and chaotic but for the most part it all looks really good even if it’s not your particular style/taste.
like people who genuinely think they have bad taste/make legit bad choices confuse me. there are things they do that I wouldn’t personally but like… I’m not them. and the choices they make are very them (complimentary)!!
also yes, the orangish red limewash is a really nice color when it’s actually on the walls! I’m someone who really likes darker tones/colors so I personally think it’s a great choice.
I do get that some people are just teasing them about to cause that’s how the phandom is but like idk I don’t think their taste is bad so I don’t really have any reason to tease them about it
no fr did you know when they first moved in basic shit like the lights and wires were all still unfinished??? I'm glad they're not paying for any of the renovations but that's still concerning considering the structural integrity of the house. Not to mention they've mentioned in the past the builders accidentally putting holes in the wall 😭 this house should've been cheap asf bc it's basically a fixer upper atp
Yeah!! It's actually crazy. I know they moved in before it was finished because of the lockdown, but this isn't "it's unfinished" type stuff, this is "they were fucked over by their construction company" type stuff.
okay yes the time when Phil nearly killed Dan with his ass by bumping him in the kitchen. Towards the stairs.
How close. Is the kitchen. To the stairs. Where a bump. Would send you down.
What is. Their house.
