Easily my favorite episode so far.
Also some small pearl appreciation real quick
But for real this episode was SO charming. It's just a very basic premise but that's why it's so good. It's a really simple low stakes plot that just let's these characters be themselves. The Pizzas honestly are like the best side characters in the series so far. They are some of my favorites & they've only just been introduced (ok the daughter showed up before but this episode made me like her way more)
I really hope Nanefua shows up again. She's instantly become one of my favorite characters so far. She's wonderful. Please tell me she comes back because I love her very much. In fact I want the Pizzas to come back many times they're so lovable.
Also this episode has been the funniest one so far too. This shit had me laughing hard.
Plus Pearl got to shine & that's always a plus.
Honeslty it's a very barebones simple plot with an obvious basic ass moral but it's the simplicity that makes it better. It's just watching some lovable characters play volleyball & then fighting a big fish. I loved this episode. This has absolutely been my favorite so far. This show has seriously greatly improved its writing from the first couple of episodes comparing it to the last handful of episodes. Anyways almost halfway done with Season 1. Let's go.
