Ok but what is even the conflict of gen:LOCK?
So the conflict is between the Polity which apparently another word for the UN judging by these stills
And the enemy is the The Union of the Fourth. And what is this Union supposed to be? The Union of course reminds of the Soviet Union aka one of most evil regimes in the entire human history and the Fourth could be interpreted as the Fourth Reich after the Third Reich aka also one of the most evil regimes in human history but we know nothing about it. They seem to have no problem advertising in the Polyth
Union members also seemed to have no problem living in the Polyth even carrying their Union cards around
We never hear them say anything about death camps,racial or religious discrimination or something like this so what is it about the Union of the Fourth? Is it a religion? Is it an union of four mega corporations? And most importantly why is it so bad? I can understand not giving us the info in the first episode but it’s been five episodes already and there hasn’t been any information. And honestly it’s getting kind of frustrating. Why the hell aren’t they telling us more? It just makes no sense that they would still refuse to expand on clarifying the universe
