I have determined that the Neil Gaiman Sandman fandom is undead (or something close to it)

Most fandoms die when a TV series ends or if a movie franchise runs out of sequels and reboots, however as Sandman has never had a TV or film adaptation it cannot be killed!

“How can you kill something that was never alive?”

And yet the fandom exists!

The comics supposedly ended in 1996 - if you somehow ignore that this was then followed by Dream Hunters, Endless Nights, and Sandman Overture.

As I said, most fandoms slowly die when the TV series or movie franchise ends. Sandman has never had these things. It lives and it cannot be killed. The fandom is undead. The Sandom is undead!

By extension (and perhaps ironically) this also means Neil Gaiman has granted Morpheus an immortality the character can never truly escape from.

like actually there are two main groups of bernie sanders supporters: -the millennials, first time voters, angry social justice-y people. they want change and they want a better country and they want it now. theyre cool. i might not agree that sanders is the best choice but i absolutely know where they're coming from. they just wanna help. sometimes annoying but that's just personality, not ideology. -aaaand the other half: the Straight Cishet White Men. very anti-establishment. they actually just don't want a woman to win. they will vote for trump if it's him vs clinton. i want to punch every single one in the face. they are consistently terrible people. they probably complain about political correctness but they think they're more liberal than the social justice-y type. they probably definitely have called clinton a cr*zy b*tch at least once in the past month.
