Tungevaag & The Second Level (feat MVRT) - Stay (Lyric video)
So I guess I found my spinning top?
Just want to write this down as a record.
I took a nap today after lunch. Then I had a dream with a dream, just like the movie inception. It happened before for several times and I also believe that many people have experienced this. But for me, this is the first time that I clearly knew I was in the second level of dream, in other words, I knew I was dreaming in a dream. My previous experiences were pretty similar: had a dream, woke up, something or some conversation happened, I would even say” oh I just had a dream” or suchlike, and somehow woke up again, then realised the whole thing before was still in the dream. So how it happened this time? I was re-watching Sherlock on my ipad, His Last Low, then I found something was wrong. There were new plots, the plots that I had never watched in Sherlock before. But, HOW?? There are three seasons out in total of this show so far and I spent my life to re-watch this show over and over and over again since the first formal episode came out in 2010, there’s no such thing as “a brand new Sherlock” to me, or to any Sherlock fan. At that moment, I realised it out of a sudden, there could be only one possibility that I would be re-watching a “Sherlock” that I had never watched before: I was not in real life. Cuz in real life, there is nothing a fan wouldn’t know in this show. It’s impossible. Every plot, every line, every detail, we just simply have watched it too many times, like FAR TOO MANY. So I assume at that time, “Sherlock” to me was like the tiny spinning top to Leonardo in “Inception”. That was the proof, the signal, to make a judgement. By recognising that, of course i was aware of it was a dream, yet how did I know that I was exactly in the second level? What if all I needed was “waking up”, and only “once”, just a thoroughly “waking up”? Well, I wasn’t sure where I was at that point. But as far as I found out “unknown plots of Sherlock” was just a bug, the fact that it was only a dream had been also exposed already. Meanwhile I kinda felt like myself was being separated from that dream. It was like, because you had seen through a dream, then nothing else you could do for next except being forced to wake up. (It’s really hard to describe.) That’s how the scenario of watching fake Sherlock show was vanishing and I was going to wake up. But, can you literally “see” yourself woken up from a dream in front of your eyes? In a lively and pictorial way in reality? You cannot. Waking up is just waking up. It’s not something you can “see”, right? Unless, you are still in the dream. that’s how I got to know that I was still in my dream. the idea crossed my mind in a second, like sparkles, I knew it when it flashed. There were no any collapses or catastrophe-ish scenes happened like they did in that famous movie. Surprisingly it was pretty quick and normal and casual. That’s the final thing i figured out before I actually woke up from my nap. Anyway, perhaps there are a lot of people have experienced this in their own dreams and maybe even more dramatic. But for me the feeling is completely fresh. It’s amazing and fascinating. Can people really have something to use as a signal to bring in dreams? Or you wouldn’t know until you meet it in your dream. And as for Sherlock, God knows how it became my spinning top…. I mean, Nothing more valuable, meaningful and important in my life? Srsly? A show?? ….. sigh.
Moffat ruined my life.
