idea for a persona spin-off

So I’ve always thought about how the vast majority of the persona spin-off games kinda...suck. I mean they’re fun and all, but none of them really expand on the universe as a whole and don’t have any impact on the “lore” if that makes any sense. That’s why I think something such as a spin-off where you play as a recent recruit of the Shadow Operatives would be a fun idea. In the story the character you play as could either already have a persona or maybe already has quite a lot of prior knowledge on personas (hence why they could be accepted into the SO without a persona) and eventually awakens to a persona of their own. In this story the main character could start out by doing simple missions and dealing with small shadows related to them until a much greater enemy arises leading to the actual plot. Some of the P3 and P4 characters could also be pretty involved due to the P3 cast’s leading of the SO and some P4 characters helping out with the SO after the events of the arena games. Depending on whether it would be set before or after P5′s events would have an impact on the story’s characters and plot. Who knows if any of what I’ve typed makes sense, but I honestly think this would make a great spin-off.
