“LORELEI, PUT THAT THING OFF YOUR MOUTH!”
“LORELEI, DO NOT PLAY IN THE FLUSH TOILET!”
NEW SIMBLR
Ya'll do me a favor my sister has joined Simblr. Can you all show her some love by following her. She will be posting pictures soon. https://frogkris70.tumblr.com/. You can also help by reblogging for those who would like to help out a newbie.
Half asleep I walked to Victoria’s office. This time I made sure to knock before entering and a few seconds later, she invited me inside looking exceptionally sour. “You needed to see me?” I asked sleepily.
“Yes,” she hissed. “I need you to run an errand for me.”
I knew I had a ton of work to do, but I also knew there was no way out of it. Just call me Merlot the task mule. “Of course. How can I help?”
Going to her desk, Victoria snatched up a stack of papers. I need you to make two sets of copies. One set for me and one set for Ms. Fairy Floss on floor 5. You won’t be able to miss her,” she said with a sneer.
Unless there was by odd chance another Fairy working in this building I knew exactly who she meant. “I’d rather- isn’t there someone else that can do that?”
Victoria glared at me over her glasses, “Is this too much work for you?”
“It’s not that!” I stammered. “It’s just, she and I-”
“I thought you’d jump at the chance to see your pink princess,” she spat.
“You remember that?” I said meekly.
“How could I not?” she said handing me the papers.”You never stopped talking about it. Now put on your big boy pants and go. She’s not your princess. she’s just a expendable worker bee.”
With more aggression than intended, I snapped the papers from her hand. A small tinge of resentment resonated. Sure, Fairy and I weren’t exactly the couple I’d pictured all those years ago, but I still cared for her. Hearing Vic talk in such a way REALLY got under my skin.
“Yes, Mrs. Bitters.”
