I played paralives and made my oc Jarrod:P
And here's his sims 3 version!I really like him.
I have drawn him four times.Although They're ugly lol,so I chose the one that I thought the best.
I don't know if any of you are also following The Clever Cowgirl on YouTube, but her mare Primrose had her foal today. (Here's the link to the super cute short 😍️)
This made me want to load up my old horse save file that I hadn't played in almost a year. I had forgotten that I had a horse in there that kind of looks a little like Prim. Her name is Starlight, she was born in game. I usually give my horses realistic coats, since the game generated one's often look completely bonkers 😂️ I like to use the beautiful coats from Leo's Workshop, and this one came closest to the game generated one:
On the left you see Starlight with the Leo's Workshop coat, and on the right is a picture of her as a foal, with the game generated coat.
Once I had given her her "grown-up"-coat, I couldn't believe how much she looked like the actual Prim (at least considering it's the sims 3 😉️)! That was about a year ago when I last played that save.
What I had also forgotten: Starlight also was pregnant the last time I played that save, and shortly after I had loaded up my save today, she gave birth to her foal 😯️🎉️
It's a filly and her name is Daylight!
I can't wait to find out what the actual Prim's foal looks like, and whether it's a little filly or colt!!! I'm so glad that everything seems to have gone well, and Primrose and her foal both seem to be happy and healthy!!!
Why're you guys lying in a line, when you've got the whole beach?
Had to laugh so hard when nr. 5 joined 😂
Avery Croft.
I have these screenshots, but I don’t have this world anymore. Could you help me figure out which world it is, please?

I have a question about a weird graphics issue, maybe someone knows why this happens? Luckily I have found a solution already. But I'm so curious as to what can cause this?! Thought I'd ask you guys, in case someone knows...
The other day I finally managed to get my sims 3 running properly on my Linux PC, and yesterday I created a sim and started a game in order to do some testing to make sure everything is working correctly. But when I entered live mode, my sim seemed to look a little weird:
Was this how the sims 3 had always looked, I wondered? Or did I have some weird graphics issue?! She looked so blurry to me... I thought maybe I had just forgotten how this game looks, after playing sims 2 for several month?
I tried tweaking sim texture quality, made double sure I had done the necessary changes to graphicsRules.sgr. But still, she didn't look good (I mean, she's very pretty, if I may say so myself, that's not the problem. But her skin looked so weird and blurry).
I decided to try out a different skin, gave her some makeup, and placed her in better lighting. Lo and behold, she looked much better!
But I still thought it was weird. I had used that same default skin from the first screenshot for years, and I had always loved it. Even when I tried other skins I eventually always returned to that one. So I decided to make a side by side comparison:
I paused the game, took a screenshot, saved, quit, changed back to the old skin, loaded the game up again, and took another screenshot:
Left side is the "new" skin, right side is the "old" skin, the one from the very first screenshot. The skin default replacement was the only thing I switched out! And with the old one it looked like the whole world had this odd grey tint!
Can a skin replacement really impact the whole lighting like this? Or is this some other weird issue? Has anyone else ever experienced this?
