Early scene from The Hospitaller Oath, my upcoming sequel to The Nephilim Protocol, (which you can buy here or start reading for free here or at my blog ). I'm hoping to publish The Hospitaller Oath by the end of August.
Chad has escaped both Nephilim extremists and governmental black ops forces to join up with his old teacher's ancient order, the Hospitallers. But they've barely made any progress before a plane crash sends him dropping into the middle of a corporate conspiracy around a sword of legend--or at least what's left of it. The Skofnung Sword is an ancient blade last wielded by the Viking king Hrolf Kraki, and with the hilt in his hand, Chad is unstoppable. Or so he hopes, anyway. The agents out to assassinate Freyja Norjavik, the crippled heiress to the Norjavik Arms empire, are relentless. Dodging assassins, Templars, and UN soldiers bent on recapturing him, Chad and a new band of friends must race around Eastern Europe, from Oslo to Kiev, to find the rest of the sword--and the evidence they need to expose the people hunting them.
My upcoming sequel has a cover! (No print copies yet, this is a digital mockup of what I hope to release at the end of August)
