I don’t talk about Jack on here much, I also don’t draw her nearly enough. Forward progress on the Cyberfantasy WIP remains slow, sometimes torturously so. But it’s the only writing project I’ve kept up with over years (beyond my dnd campaigns, and I don’t have to solve problems in those as much as create them) and it refuses to leave me alone. So I continue.
Anyway here’s the blasé blue bitch herself, Jack Gathoway. Working on her implants with a truly irresponsible, if not unusual, amount of PPE.
I forget how much I love rendering metal sometimes. Challenge for myself this year is to get back into drawing armor and gear (and backgrounds 😭) more heavily now that I’ve got a better process for drawing figure.
Have you played THE SPRAWL ?
By Hamish Cameron
Glide through the most secure corporate computer networks. Crack the ICE that stands between you and that big score.
Drop your cyberlinked autoshotgun to the floor empty. Flick chrome blades from your fingers. Dive into the midst of that corporate response team to secure your team’s exit.
Cut power to the alarms. Drop over the wall into the compound. Slip past the auto-sentries. Locate and secure the prototype. Escape under the eyes of the rotor-drones.
Whatever your story, you are the extended assets of vast multinational corporations, operating in the criminal underground, and performing the tasks that those multinationals can’t do… or can’t be seen to do. You are deniable, professional and disposable.
The Sprawl is a game of mission-based action in a gritty neon-and-chrome Cyberpunk future for an MC and 2-4 players.
Have you played ?
Yes I have played it
No but i've read it
no but I've heard of it
never heard of it
William Gibson books are funny because the Sprawl is this giant mega-city with a billion people, but everybody knows Molly Millions and The Finn.
jasper, my current ttrpg player :)
