Synopsis
Hase Taiga (Akaso Eiji), who has been working part-time at the small restaurant "Tanomi" for three years, was once a promising young man as the ace of the university's relay team, but his career was thwarted by poor performance. While he doesn't have any particular dreams now, he's gradually beginning to find fulfillment in his work, such as being entrusted by the owner with creating new menu items.
Meanwhile, Park Rin (Kang Hye-won), a graduate student studying animation from Korea, is busy working on her assignments. Just when she feels relieved after finally submitting her assignment just before the deadline, she receives a notice requesting she vacate her student dormitory. However, finding housing in Japan is not an easy task for a foreigner, and it can be physically and mentally exhausting. The two then have a chance encounter at "Tanomi." Rin is touched by the rice balls Taiga serves her, and her hunger and tiredness are gradually quenched. Taiga is captivated by Rin's smile as she devours them with relish. And the moment their eyes met, an irresistible thrill ran through the two of them.
