Ever since seeing episode 2 last night all I can think of is how in Campaign 2 Matt made a specific point of emphasising how Esseks house was full of locked doors, was super dusty/clearly hadn't seen guests in a long time, and how he served them (really shitty) food himself instead of having any servants around to help (despite being a member of the nobility).

.... And then we all just kinda assumed this was just Essek being naturally shady and anti social....but What IF??? MATTHEW MERCER HAVE YOU BEEN KEEPING THIS TO YOURSELF THE WHOLE TIME??
