I managed to do a few personal pieces between the chaos of my life this past year. In particular in this instance, I needed something gentle and full of love.  So here’s Llwyr and Denzel.

Here it is: The most tragic moment of Llwyr’s early days as a Secondborn. I can’t tell you more until we release the Oasis story. Only that this is how he got those marks on his face...

Denzel belongs to @condiscum. The absolute unit of a tree trunk is my spearmarshal boy, Llwyr.

All you need to know about Lierik is that he’s a literal walking talking meme. Hence the Asuran heelies. 

Llwyr is but his humble sidekick with matching expensive aviators bought for him when he fought Lierik out of a bad situation (let’s just say Llwyr ended up smashing some heads together to help them make their get away). 

Lierik is eternally grateful to have a 6′8″ bodyguard who’d throw down his life for a bag of potato chips.

LLWYR

1. Their physical weak spots

Haaaaa, good luck finding them. He’s a well rounded guardian, greatsword wielder, and hand-to-hand combatant. He’s got a strong center of gravity so you’d be hard pressed to set him off balance. 

However, his sheer bulk makes him move slightly slower in ordinary sword fights. He’s better at fighting with a GS against multiple opponents than he is using a dagger against a single, agile opponent, for example. He’s actually been stabbed several times already in similar fights for this very reason.

2. Their emotional/moral weak spots

Llwyr has a hard time telling people “no”, so he often runs himself ragged doing things for others. He doesn’t know how and when to stop to give himself time to recover.

Llwyr also has such a powerful, innate need to protect the people around him and make their lives better that he often neglects his own worth. Denzel eventually confronts him about this, saying, “How many ‘good person’ points do you have to put on that scale to balance the gift of your life? Are you ever going to be enough for yourself? You don’t have to justify your existence. Isn’t you being enough for me enough for you?“

This confounds Llwyr because he’s never considered that for even a second. He’s been throwing his life in harm’s way since day one like its his sworn duty to do so. But not only for duty’s sake, but because he feels so strongly for the lives of those around him. He has such a deep empathy for everyone else but himself.

3. Scars or painful spots

A long scar across his abdomen, several scarred up stab wounds, one on the right side of his chest and other in his side, and long scars on the left side of his face going down. He has various other scars from battle against Joko’s forces as Spearmarshal and the Nightmare Court back in his Warden days. After the big battle against Joko, he picks up a host of new scars, including one slash over his right brow going down to his mid-cheek.

4. Best places to kiss on their body

5. Guilty pleasures

FOOD. He works out and spars so often that he eats ravenously to bulk up and replenish. He’s a fan of rich, hearty meals with warm spices. Cous cous and stewed chicken is a favorite of his.

6. Their vices (physical or emotional)

Drugs when he can get his hands on them. Aggressively and ravenously sexual. He’s also a gambler. 

Emotionally? Well, he’s a sociopath, so he doesn’t feel in the classic sense of the word. But he likes to toy with and dominate the people around him, digging into their weaknesses and pushing them to their absolute limit. Even if this puts him in the line of fire. He’d do anything for a bit of stimulation and fun. 

7. Their tickle spots

His sides and tummy.

8. Bad memories/experiences

Naeem was one of the Secondborn taken by the Asura and experimented upon for study. This is his worst memory and the one that turned him to Nightmare as well as shaping him into the sociopath he is today.

His next worse memory is when he was taken by his own Court after betraying them and tortured, having his arm severed inch by inch up to the shoulder. 

9. Humiliating memories

When he was taken by the Asura, he was literally tacked open wide and had his insides displayed and studied. As such he has a long, thick scar running from just below his collar bone down to the bottom of his stomach. 

10. Fears/phobias

Asura and the Inquest in particular.
