hi, I don't remember if such a question was asked, but my friend asks a lot about why Ellsee wears clothes with her blood color if she's trying to hide it. Is this one of the contradictions that will be explained later, or is it justified at this point in history?

ellsee lives alone and moves around consistently, hidden behind powerful magic and chimeraparent. she’s seen as a living myth and people only seek her out when they’re in search of her blood for their own gain. and even then with how well we know chimeraparent defends her, and even with the few incantations she knows with her staff, she doesn’t really seem to have any issues in remaining safe.

we also know that when ellsee goes out she has a cloak, and that the vivifiers notoriety as a figure of legend tends to mask her from outside sources (especially online) with the exception of her friends. i would say that with these factors in mind, when shes on her own or in the comfort of those who know her, she doesn’t really have any reason to not dress the way that she wants.
