How much of erha have you read so far and what are your thoughts?

I'm still on bk 1, chpt 36 out of 45, so I'm near the end! My goal is to finish it this weekend actually, because on Tuesday I'm planning to go the bookstore and I'm hoping I can grab bk2 while I'm getting some other books.

And honestly, at this point I'm kind of obsessed. This series has hardly begun, I've only scratched the surface, but it's soooo crunchy. Like. Both of these characters' POVs are a goddamn mess. Mo Ran bouncing between settling back into his student life and the innocence and optimism of it, and the fact that he isn't innocent, that he's an adult who became strong and unstoppable and cruel. Him going about his day and then reflecting on how he tortured Chu Wanning in his past life, and dealing with the fact that these were real things he did versus the fact that none of it has ever actually happened is delicious.

And then there's whatever fucking baggage Chu Wanning has, which I am very excited to learn more about. Just got through the punishment bit and HEY BUDDY, what is actually wrong with you <3 He feels so profoundly unlovable and I want to wrap him in a blanket and also maybe shake him until some common sense falls out. Fascinating. I want to dissect him.

Anyway, at this point I am eating this up with a spoon, I basically read all day Friday because I got a day off and I couldn't look away from this trainwreck.

honestly going into the twilight princess manga nobody ever told me it was gonna be shoujo as hell and that Link and Midna's relationship would be very clearly sub/dom dynamic. Or that there would be massive amounts of Link whump. Or that Zelda and Ganondorf would have their own humanized version of the Hylia vs. Demise rivalry. The ending where Link rides into the sunset following the Hero's Shade that is simultaneously sweet, nostalgic, sad, and all around ambiguous?

People were saying it was good, didn't expect it to be good and catered to me personally that's what I'm saying.
