Helen: I hate being mean. If I could solve everything kindly and peacefully I would do it in a heartbeat. Hurting another person should always be last resort.
John Wick: Santino upset me.
Helen: Kill him.

Friday Night Music with The Wicks – Three Rivers Winery
Friday, August 20th
6pm
Have a Gentlemen Of The Road hangover? Want to scratch that great music itch? We’ve got your fix: We’re bringing The Wicks back to Walla Walla to perform at Three Rivers Winery THIS Friday, August 21st! The band made a big splash on the Spokane Street Stage of the GOTR fest, so if you loved their performance last weekend or missed out – we’ve got you covered!
We’ll have food catered by the Walla Walla Bread CO, Three Rivers wines, and music by The Wicks all while enjoying stunning views of the Blue Mountains and our surrounding vineyards. Wines will be available for purchase by the glass or by the bottle.
Pauline and Jedidiah are the musical soul of the independent folk band, The Wicks. Small town kids from the Pacific Northwest, a recent migration to the heartland introduced the latest addition to the band, lead guitarist and vocalist John Charles Ledbetter. Pauline’s earthy songwriting and powerful voice has blended a vocal depth that is rare, and demands attention. Jedidiah rounds out the Trio’s sound with a strong rhythm section that includes mandolin and slide guitars.
Tickets are just $5 or reserve a table of 4 for $30, or a table of 6 for $40 (table seating is limited)
All ages are welcome.
Advance ticket purchases are appreciated for proper staffing and catering of the event, but are not required. Reservations may be made online or at www.threeriverswinery.com or by calling 509-526-9463 x1.

With Heart, Soul, and Vocal Thunder, The Wicks hold nothing back! The Wicks are best described as a Folk act with a lot of Soul/R&B. You might hear stage stomping, you might see bottleneck slides and mandolins, but you’ll always hear and feel the Soul! Pauline tells timeless stories with bold vocal melodies that cut to the core of your soul as she holds down a booming beat with her feet as Jedidiah strums by her side inspiring your hands and feet to move to The Wicks infectious rhythms. In Spring 2014 The Wicks made a musical migration, touring from their PNW homeland to the heartland where their music will put down its roots. Whether The Wicks come to your town as a coffee shop duo or a fan-pleasing full band, get ready to move and be moved because The Wicks powerful presence will ignite any stage!

Bradford Loomis and The Wicks- Get on the Train
This is a local country western/blues band from here in Eastern Washington. I saw these guys play at our local Winter festival a week ago and THEY WERE FUCKING AMAZING. My brother (who has autism) and I watched them for pretty much their whole set. My brother was dancing with me and got really really happy when they did their cover of "Folsom Prison Blues" and started singing along with them (as well as he can, just the fact that he RECOGNIZED the song and was singing along was awesome). When they started packing up their instruments, my brother went up to the lead guitarist/male vocal and asked "Hey, What are you doing? Knock it Off!!" and the singer had a very confused look on his face (he probably thought, "dude, this kid is PISSED."), and I explained "Hey, this is my brother Kasey, he has autism but we REALLY loved your show, and he's just sad to see you go." He thanked us and then one of the guys by him who was selling CDs gave Kasey a concert DVD and said "Here, now you can see them play whenever you want." and I was like YO, I AM POOR, but he just kinda shook his head and pushed it into Kasey's hands. And I CRIED. They didn't have to do that, but it made Kasey feel super special (plus, it made me feel like I was a pretty damn cool big sister).
So this band is awesome. The people in the band are awesome. And I hope more people recognize their awesomeness. Please, give them a listen, or visit their website.
