So the Zeppelin actually wandered this weekend... Shawnee State Park in southern Ohio.  It was fabulous, and we are 100% in love with this thing.

Now we’re kicking around the logistics of building a roof rack that would be able to hold the canoe, because almost every state park around here has a lil lake.  Also hoping to take those dreadful 90′s teal stripes off at some point and restripe this thing in the early-80′s brown/orange/yellow that it craves.  

In an ideal world, we would repaint the entire thing a deep brown with a lot of flake, but that may be getting carried away, even for us, where one of us happens to paint cars for a living.

Literally already taking pictures and pretty much all I’ve done is sit in this camper and be happy that we’re going to eventually leave in like six hours haha

On Jul 2, 1900, The Zeppelin Takes Off for the First Time.

Loading up the Zeppelin for another weekend exploring a random state park.  We’re really going crazy this time around and taking Pruitt + the canoe.  (The canoe needs a name.  We’ve tried various ones and still haven’t found the right name.  It will come with time.)  Tragically looks like it’s going to be a scorcher of a weekend though.
