Hi! I've been out of the fandom for quite a while, but recently I was looking for an older fic that I thought I had bookmarked, but apparently I don't. It starts out with the pack making a deal with some kind of supernatural entity where the entity's terms are that one of them has to give something up. Stiles volunteers, and it turns out what he gives up is his unrequited love for Derek. And THEN Stiles and Derek start sleeping together because Stiles no longer cares so much about not hurting Derek. The angst factor is high but it gets resolved eventually. IDK, this might be a really well-known fic or it might not. Any leads would be greatly appreciated!

2: what movie have you watched most recently? what did you think of it?

i went and saw the movie version of kim seokjin’s concert in theaters on saturday. it was fun! i had watched the livestream of the two encore concerts in november, so i knew kinda what it would be like, but it was fun to see a version of his show from earlier in the tour. it does kinda bum me out how many songs they seem to cut from the theatrical releases of the concerts, but they seem pretty committed to keeping the movies to 90 mins, so oh well. but it was still good!

20: what do you wish someone would ask you?

oh man, idk, LOL. i just like being asked questions, i guess. i’m not good about talking about things on my own, so it’s always nice to have someone show interest in whatever, whether that’s me or something i’m interested in. i just don’t know how to bring things up, and it doesn’t occur to me that anyone’s interested in what i have to say, lol.

5: what's your one dream silly house thing, like a secret room or a fireman's pole or whatever?

my own private dance studio. see also: music room and solarium. at least one of these should be behind a hidden bookshelf door.

17: what's your favourite advert you've ever seen? can be tv/radio/print/digital

i have absolutely no clue. i pay absolutely zero attention to ads, ever. i could maybe tell you a couple i hate, but that’s about it.

oh no wait, there is one. i think this is still an ad that gets played sometimes? but when i was a kid in the middle of hicksville nowhere, had never seen a beach other than on a lake, had never seen a palm tree, there was a corona ad that would play on the tv when we were down at my grandparents for like thanksgiving or christmas or whatever, and it was christmas lights turning on on a palm tree and then some christmas carol starts playin on a steel drum or a ukulele or something sufficiently “tropical”, and i just remember finding that so intensely exotic, like, what do you mean there’s christmas on a beach and like… holiday lights?? on a palm tree??? (i probably only accessed this memory because it’s you asking, tbh.)

19: what's your favourite museum or art gallery you've ever been to? bonus points if it was for a specific exhibition

when i was in nyc circa summer 2005 there was an art exhibit in some warehouse down by the water called Ashes to Snow. it has…mixed reviews, but at the time i was 21 and still pretty sheltered and i found the images really moving.

for a non-specific exhibition, seeing the endeavor in LA the 3 times i’ve seen it is a religious experience.

I am somewhat unobservant so I am sure the thing that is going to kill me I will not see coming. Either that or I'm gonna trip and fall down the stairs for real one of these days.

26. In the event of a Time Machine Mishap in what time/place within the last few thousand years would you be the most fucked?

Well, since I need glasses to see, really any time before those were a common thing that people had. Otherwise, I mean, any period of time where it was better for women to be seen and not heard as i am incapable of shutting up.

7: If you were a fictional character, who would you be (flattering)?

Hmm I think either Calvin from the Wrinkle in Time series or Agnieszka from Uprooted. Kind, determined, brave - what I hope and try to be.

8: If you were a fictional character, who would you be (unflattering)?

Lwaxana Troi. Intelligent but obnoxious; self-absorbed and bad with boundaries.

11: Tell us about your shittiest, most problematic ancestor?

I have to pick just one? LOL. Well, I mean, the one I recently learned owned slaves probably takes the cake on that. As far as I’d ever known, my family’s always been just dirt fucking poor on all sides, but turns out that apparently one branch was only that way post-Civil War - before that, at least one guy was a weapons manufacturer who sold arms to the confederacy and “owned” at least 14 humans. Hard to top that, if I’m honest. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to go donate some money to a cause that will make him roll in his grave, it’s what I try to do every time I remember he ever existed.
