needlessly to say, making monsters who once were humans FEEL humane again is my guilty pleasure + Aatrox is horribly depressed. but i do think there is more human in him than within Rhaast and THAT’S what make Irelia consider and wonder what he truly is.

perhaps Aatrox not always acting so evilly. sometimes having a tick of empathy again and lends his hand to someone in need, prooving there is something in him worth saving and working on.

.......... also let’s be honest, Trox just walks to Ionia. through the sea. they met when he was tired from all this walking. imagine a giganting IDIOOOT sitting on the shore and there’s suddenly this smol general sitting next to him. that frigging awkward.

AGAIN, borrowing from payn the idea of Irelia giving Aatrox a child and a family, trying to anchor those new feelings of love and kindness into his void corrupted heart and try to stand each sunrise to see his offspring grow and call to him. imagine Irelia actually having troubles by falling in love with the Darkin. imagine her being EXILED for that yet still fighting for her country.
