There is none. . at all, one day they just say that Arthur and Gwen have been in love this whole time and we just have to go with it.

Glad it's not just me. I keep waiting for the epic romance and all but nothing yet. I thought maybe I was too focused on the ridiculous amounts of gay subtext (and not so subtext) to notice anything het. Yet I think Morgana and Arthur (pre-sibling reveal), Merlin and Morgana, Gwen and Merlin, Gwen and Lancelot, all would have been adorable/epic.
