Thoughts on this;

Max and Chris are both terrible insomniacs. While Max tends to wander around his flat aimless occasionally cleaning things, Chris uses the time to get more paperwork done for upcoming productions. Once in a blue moon they'll run into each other when walking around town and chat a bit

ooo i love it! the idea of sandra just waking up one night to find max vacuuming is really funny to me. and chris obviously, his whole life is based around paperwork.

additionally — max is still insomniac, but once he finally properly goes to sleep, he is such a heavy sleeper. it takes significant effort to wake him. chris on the other hand is much more of a light sleeper.

What's ballerina about

it's a max x sandra songfic, based on the song ballerina by jeremy shada (hence the name haha) because it's a sweet song imo and i thought it fit their vibes well, especially bc it kinda reinforced my headcanon that sandra dances (or used to). basically it's a bunch of drabbles of cuteness and them being in love and me being in love with them.

my favorite things is a valentine's fic! the cornley members suddenly find cards and a single flower addressed to them in their coats/bags/etc., all detailing lovely things (with some wingmanning). as it turns out, the culprit is– you guessed it– Max, who just wanted to do something nice for his favorite group of people :]

💻 Do you do research for your fics? What’s the deepest dive you’ve done?

yes definitely! when i was writing the way back home, i went into a liminal spaces dive (even though i already knew a fair bit about them). i also started writing a coffee shop au, and as i have no experience into coffee shops or coffee in general, i spent three hours learning the common types of coffee and how they’re made.

💭 What is a headcanon you have about your own work?

awww man that’s hard… i more base my fics around headcanons rather than come up with them based on my fic. but in relation to twbh, my headcanon (that i almost made into another fic in the series) is that other universe chris and robert got together after the events.
