I realise, now, that perhaps there’s some amount of stock in what everyone keeps saying - I have grown up like my mother. It wasn’t even intentional. I suppose there was already some of her in me when I was a teen, then when she left… I don’t know how it happened, and I’m not sure whether I like it or not.

Not that I don’t adore my mother, with every fibre of my being, but at the same time… I think having two people similarly inclined in the same room seems to be creating a certain amount of conflict. We’re both strong, stubborn… and we seem to be butting heads because of it.

I don’t want that. I want more than anything just to be… happy, together. I didn’t bring her back so that we could argue with each other. I just hope… I hope we’ll be okay.

I love Jessi (aka you :P) very much. You are adorable, and a sweetheart and I am very lucky to count you as a friend. You also encourage my bad behavior which most people would advise against but I love you even more for it! For anyone who is new to the rodeo, I will reiterate that I espouse how wonderful Alice is as an OC. But honestly, even if Alice wasn’t Alice I would still love Jessi because she is just a wonderful person.

We don’t talk about Meghan. JK. My aesthetic in life is meeting people that I will continue to be friends with when certain niche things end and Meghan is the perfect example of that. I think if I tried to disappear she would make a concentrated effort to find me and you know what I love that. I love having someone who sees I am upset because of my own stupid issues and the first words out of her mouth are who do I need to fight. I talk a lot of shit about Meghan because that is how our dynamic works but I love her very much.

Aryan swallowed as he looked up at his mother, deciding it was best not to say anything that could further incriminate himself at this point. He had somewhat had the vain hope that he wouldn’t be caught, but he should have known better - his mother seemed to have the uncanny ability to see all.
