Julian feels especially glamorous as he enters the J. Fischer Gallery, excited to arrive on the guest of honor’s arm. It hardly matters how many countless galas he’s attended over his short life. The young baker swells with pride any time he gets to watch Martin greet an ever-growing adoring public, clamoring to praise him and the work he has on display.
The disciple gives an unnecessary apology before breaking away to attend to his investors. Julian gives his arm a gentle, encouraging squeeze in return before bidding him off, an impossibly fond smile stuck over his face. He wears it, unfaltering, all the way to the buffet assembled across the room. In his eagerness to survey the spread--he has always been the type to think with his stomach--he accidentally knocks shoulders with a neighboring guest.
“I’m so sorry!” He hurries to apologize, “I didn’t--”
His brows furrow curiously, then lifts with earnest delight.
“My goodness, I know you!” His smile returns to him, “Roisin Delaney. Your work is simply marvelous.”

from here:
Kyle closed his eyes and inhaled deeply. Just for a second--just a little mindfulness exercise from one of Dr. Lamb’s pamphlets. It really wouldn’t do to snap at her again. After all, she was hired for a reason. And the turnover rate in Fleet Hall...left a lot to be desired.
“You have my sympathy. I know how it feels to be rushed.” No one seemed to take that into account--what, did they think he was the director? Did he actually look like he had that much authority? Ha. Right.
“Unfortunately, that's the nature of the situation.” He took another expansive look at the backdrop. Anyone sitting in the front row would be appalled. On the other hand, from the high-vantage, VIP seats, it would probably look decent. Maybe it would even resemble trees!
“To tell you the truth, I’m less concerned with the product itself. That can’t be helped now. I’m more worried about the...” He paused, trying to choose his words carefully. “...work ethic of the artists involved.” Kyle knew for a fact the actors brought flasks with them to rehearsals; had this problem spread, like a wayward infection?
All the same, Kyle smiled at her. She was probably tired and underpaid. Not an enviable combination.

OOC: Guess who's back? That's right me, I'll be posting replies tonight(once I get home) as I already have several written. I think the hiatus was very good for me and my three characters. Now I'm back and ready to role-play again(Don't worry I have all the replies I owe in drafts if I miss you when I finished posting all replies in the next two or three days then you can yell at me. (I like to be yelled at when I forget things, only way I'll learn.)
If you would like to RP with this account, jacky-and-sparks, or the-quiet-painter, hit me up on the respective account. Or post an open starter(I look through my dashboard everyday to see all the new posts so I rarely miss a starter, but if you want to send a link feel free.) If you don't let me know you want to RP, I am shy so longing looks will be the only thing you'll probably get.
Also, I'm resuming my photoshopping fun, so if you would like an audio diary feel free to ask, I like making them, though it helps if you give me a useable picture(just a headshot with a plain background.) It'll be done faster that way. Or if you want something special(*points to my previous edits*)I also might do one for you if you ask nicely.
Anyway thank you for reading this, I will stop clogging your dash with OOC posts now and return to my regularly scheduled rping.

Roy had been trying to take his mind off ADAM (and his significant absence of it) the only way he knew how; simply with another addiction. Namely alcohol. Roy slumped against the wall, bottle in hand. "Whassat... huh? Oh..shit..don't ...don't kill me or nothin'..I..I don't got any ADAM."
Waiting for Inspiration//Open
It wasn’t often Roisin could be found without her sketchpad, and today was not an exception. It was tucked beneath one arm a pencil stuck behind her ear. Though she preferred painting lugging a canvas and paints around just wasn’t practical, and most likely result in a large mess. She had grown bored of painting landscapes, and seascapes recently, really she needed a new model to work with. But that was the consideration for another time, for now she was content to wander and observe searching for her flighty muse.
As for what to do at the moment, well getting some food sounded pleasant enough and a way to waste time. She let her feet carry her to the Bathysphere terminal. Seems she was just a bit late as the round sub disappeared. Well she would just have to wait a moment for the next. She took a seat on one of the benches leaning her head back to stare at the ceiling.
