While her entire way of life was based upon the supernatural and not at all with the sciences, Vanessa had a fond appreciation for the wonders that the brilliant scientific minds had brought to light. There was something calming about knowing the explanations for some of the strange and uncanny events that had happened in her life. Not everything had an explanation, no... but there were some things that she now knew that helped her sleep a little more soundly at night.
Eyes darted across the Rapture Tribune’s latest edition of the comings and goings of the city. What seemed to have caught her attention appeared to be a rather sparkling review of Sander Cohen’s latest performance piece... or theatrical spectacle, she couldn’t decide which was a bigger lie. Such decadent language to describe what could only be essentialized to glitz, glamour, and no substance. She paused, only to rush from her seated position in the Arcadia gardens to stop a man from toppling into the nearest pond.
“Sir ––” her arm tightly latched on to his. “What ever could have caused you to...” Vanessa paused, realizing the error of her ways.
