Zazu smiled again and hugged him back. "Thank you, Hanni. I'll take some pillows and a warm blanket and I'll wait for you to finish your day there." She kissed his cheek tenderly before to walk back in the house. The child came back after a few minutes, holding her teddy bear, two big pillows and the blanket over her shoulders.

"Alright, Zazzy." He smiles, dismissing her. When she returns, he takes the pillows and blanket, carrying it up the ladder for her.

"Can I... go on the mezzanine and wait for you there please? I'm a bit scared when I am alone in the house..." She confessed, sniffing slightly and taking his other hand in her petite own.

"Yes. You may, you're always welcome to." He hugs her close.

She smiled widely at the nickname he gave her and she cuddled him closer. "Are you working late, tonight?" The little girl inquired, looking up at him.

"I am, yes." He smiled, petting her hair softly.

Zazu smiled widely and hugged Hannibal back tightly, kissing his cheek. "I missed you." She whispered, resting against him.

"I missed you too, Zazzy."

Zazu knocked at the doctor's office door and entered it, carrying a tray with a cup of coffee for him and a cup of hot chocolate for herself. "Hello Hanni." The child said with a big smile on her face. "You work too much. You need a small break, that's why I prepared you coffee."

"Thank you, Zazu." He smiles, picking up the coffee and chocolate, putting it on his desk. He then lifts Zazu up into his lap, hugging her.

Zazu knocked at Hannibal bedroom's door, hodling her teddy bear in her arms. It was in the middle of the night, her cheeks were covered by tears.

Hannibal opened the door and picked her up, wiping her tears away. "Zazzy, don't cry...shhh..."
