the sharpest lives are the deadliest || sumin + jongin
Jongin stuffed his hands into his pockets as he strolled through the main lobby of the Crown Hotel, the place shining and shimmering in gold-plated decor. Everything in this hotel looked vaguely ancient, like a throwback to an older, glamorous time that Korea had never really experienced, but the style and fashion were always well-liked. Like old Hollywood. Jongin couldn't care less about it, but he didn't feel the need to change anything after taking ownership.
He wasn't all that invested in the hotel style anyway, leaving aesthetic ideas to other people-- no, he was more interested in the on-goings of the rooms, the secrets they could hold for him, the deals that could be made. He took the elevator up to the sixth floor and headed into the 10th room, satisfied to see it already packed and filled to the brim with containers of guns, ammo, and of course aphrodisiac drugs. In less than an hour, it would be full of money.
But first there was something that needed attending, the thought of which brought a grin to his face. It had been too long since he'd seen her, really actually looking forward to it. He sat on the edge of one of the beds, facing the door, and checked his watch, waiting. A few minutes went by. He sighed and was about to get his phone out to call a handler (who must have apparently fucked up) when the door latch clicked and in Cha Sumin walked.
He grinned widely at her, his eyes evil and glinting. "You're late, but I'm glad you could make it. This is going to be so much fun, Sumin-ah."
