Too swamped to put up something new, but as no one guessed the origin of these #characters I'll fill in the blanks: These are my versions of characters from two #fairytales by #NewYorkerMagazine humorist #JamesThurber. The #king is from #TheWhiteDeer and the others are from #The13Clocks.

The 13 Clocks My mother introduced me to this book when I was about 14 or so. I had completely forgotten about it until my mom brought it up at Thanksgiving.  This video is something of a preview of the book narrated by the ever wonderful Neil Gaiman. And the book is thoroughly wonderful in the marvelous Fairy Tale Way.

One of the things on my list of things to do before I die, is to record the whole of this book. But if I die suddenly tomorrow of an unexpected rhinoceros attack, I am happy that I recorded the first 5 minutes...
