The 20s Project Update
The 20’s Project is a list of twenty things I would like to do while in my twenties. The only stipulation is that completion of any of these items may not hinge on participation of another person. I will update the list as I go, both with new ideas and with completions.
1. Write poetry.
2. Play on an ultimate frisbee club team.
3. Compile a family cookbook; learn how to cook all the recipes.
4. Visit a National Park out west.
5. Become CPR and First Aid certified.
6. Pick a subject (nutrition, anatomy, astronomy...), find a book about it, and read it cover-to-cover.
7. Go to a Sara Bareilles concert.
8. Travel to Europe.
9. Run a 5k.
10. Fix something that has gone wrong in my car. Replaced my brakes.
11. Make something wooden by hand.
12. Be a 4-H volunteer.
13. Join a choir.
14. Travel to Chicago, IL.
15. Get a piercing or a tattoo.
16. Graduate from college.
17. Take a dance class.
18. Rent an apartment with friends or by myself.
19. Rock climb or skydive or hike something challenging.

my 20's project.
grasp.
I'm having a difficult time trying to grasp the idea that I'll be running 13.1 miles (at one time) in about thirty-six hours. It's tough. I'm excited -- but the nervousness is taking over. I'm so stinkin' nervous.
There's a plus side to the course I'll be completing Saturday morning -- that it's all flat. I've been training on hills and I am hoping this will be to my advantage. I have a goal time -- it's personal. I'm relying on the sheer strength of God to make it, to complete it, and to feel accomplished. For those who've been following me know that running doesn't come easy, but I do it -- I do it for me. Prayers would be appreciated, not only that I properly prepare my mind for this, but for the strength to complete it. You guys have been a fabulous support system, and a thank you is not nearly enough!
