Simonnnnn
I know. I'm totally in love with that damn cat. When I slept over at Lacey's the other night it came over and slept on my face about 3 times. It was adorable.

Look at how cuTE YOU ARE
Oh, I see how it is. Can't actually write the word 'cute', can you? Have to pull some stylistic trickery. I see through your low-key digs. No wonder you're batting for Aristotle. :p

STERLING YOU DA BEST
Amanda, no! You're the best. :) I miss seeing you around, by the way. I know I say this all the time and never get to it (I'm awful, sorry), but I really should come by the house and say hi sometime. If I do, I'll bring a huge batch of cookies or something and be like "Sorry I never hang out".

Yeahhh danse macabre
Was it you that showed me Wintersleep originally? I can't remember how I found them, and that totally seems like something you would have shown me (considering you always give me good music - exhibit A being Moon Hooch, or at least that's the first I thought of).
the89thkey As loud as possible. That sounds good! Do you think it makes sense to get a decent sized one and then just put it on a rolling cart all harnessed in with a microphone attached?
Thank u for the response too. We are cramming to figure this out 4 tomorrow.

Me
Yeah, no, I was kind of thinking of you and whatsupmakelove when I saw it. The actual book looks really cool too (and not just ideologically awesome).
I could easily see you being the first fox in space though (soviet or otherwise). :p

you stay warm with clothes, unfortunately. there's no way around the wearing of layers. you do warm up after a couple minutes of riding though so you probably need less than 50 lbs of clothes overall...
Yeah, that's about what I figured. I'll probably try to get some lighter clothes for layering once I get some money. The only problem is, like, having all those clothes and then having to take them off and store them somewhere once you reach someplace that's warm (like a classroom).

costco has a really good deal on merino wool baselayers rn, i had my mom mail me a couple. they're great because they breathe, but then if you throw a sweater on over it once you get to where you were riding to, it is hella warm inside. i'll txt u
Oh damn, that's a good idea. I'll have to ask my grandma about that, since she's the one that shops at Costco all the time. I'm also going to try and get some off-brand under-armor stuff to wear under button-ups or whatever, to try and get that perfect mix of warm but not suffocating.

Tucking in a shirt or two helps a lot, different scarf wraps for wind blocking, and a light hat or gloves make a big difference.
Yeah, part of that is what I've been doing already. Also actually purchasing a helmet at some point would be useful too (warmth & safety - an A+ deal).
And I need to figure out some better ways of wrapping a scarf around me (i.e. not be lazy and just google "how to wear a scarf") since rn I'm mostly just wrapping it around my face a bunch and hoping it doesn't slip while riding.

no you're thinking of the eagles
False: The Eagles have never written a good song.
the89thkey replied to your post: Damn, I just got the best set of books...
Which store?
Grassroots!
Sorry, I just saw your reply. But I don't know if you've been there before (I can't remember when it started up), but the next time you're in Reno you should check them out. They're becoming one of my favorite bookstores here. Especially since once a month they do a ridiculous $5 book-bag sale, where you can fill a paper bag with as many books as you can fit inside of it for only five bucks. I've gotten so many books I don't need that way.
