Has Sophie or Felix ever tried some Melatonin pills to get some proper sleep?

Currently, in the story, it's 1980, so melatonin pills wouldn't be readily available to them.

Furthermore, though it can help people fall asleep a few minutes faster, studies indicate that melatonin has a pretty minimal effect on how well someone sleeps.

That said, within the story, insomnia is one of a few factors when it comes to why Felix continues drinking (since alcohol can make you drowsy, and- yeah.)

As for Sophie, she normally sleeps okay.

generally, no! i think there are some very niche exceptions — if a person is genuinely unable to leave their actual partner, or maybe they’re legally married, and the actual partner has just fucked off entirely — otherwise, just…. bail. DUMP ‘EM.
