Back 2 work today and one of the companies we regularly deal with has started putting THIS IS A EURO INVOICE in huge bold letters at the top of their invoices like girl who hurt you
Worked on designing a piece for a little girl’s room the other day. Very rarely do I get to work with kids anymore because it can be so tedious and also children love to beeline for Things That Kill Them. Dad is a regular though and his daughter is super well behaved. Ask her favorite color “yellow!” Great! I was going to go with yellow, too. How about purple?
Little girl, thinking so hard: purple… is a color an octopus would like
Me: oh. Yeah, I think so, too. Do we like octopuses?
Little girl: YES
Me: okay, great! So purple, too?
Little girl: YES!
Dad: she’s being Ursula for Halloween
Then she introduced me to her toy fish, Simba. Great child, 10/10
I use gold paint a lot at work and unfortunately I have dumb craft brain of “just wipe it on my pants” so every time I have to stop myself and go “NO” but for some reason the substitution is “wipe it on your arm…” but fun fact! This paint is crazy and does NOT want to be removed from skin so I pretty much always have like. At least one streak of gold paint on my forearm

Cant believe I didn’t take a picture of the project I did at work today. None of you would get to see it but it was so cool and I’m so proud of myself for just fucking doing it. It was like an eight hour process but boy it turned out tight and I got so much praise for being a good good seamstress girl (gender neutral)
Learning a cool new technique at work today that, when I showed interest, boss was SUPER excited to teach me which like. Solid. But have you also considered the concept of it is stressful with no room for error and also… I want to be at home
