I remember on February 4th, 2013 at 9 AM, I was sitting in my math class checking twitter instead of paying attention like I should have been (haha). I'd heard rumors of an FOB reunion, but there had been so many that they were difficult to believe. The hashtag #lightemup filled my timeline and I still couldn't believe it. But there it was and, a year later, I find it hard to even remember that there was a hiatus in the first place. I saw Fall Out Boy three times last year, and stayed up late to watch them play on TV countless more times.
I wish I could properly explain how much Fall Out Boy's music means to me. I can relate to every album in some way, a bond I don't have with any other band. Their music reminds me that it's okay to not be okay sometimes, but that it's even better to be better.
I love Fall Out Boy, I've loved Fall Out Boy for years, and I will love Fall Out Boy for the rest of my life. Thanks to these for guys for coming back just when I needed them the most <3
