Put a name/URL in my askbox. My character will try to summarize them as if describing them to someone who had never met them before.
"Now Liesmith is a different being all on his own, I swear. Honestly, I could describe him for days and never fully be able to define him completely. He's the kind of Loki you have to know in order to understand everything I say, but, nonetheless, I will attempt.
"Liesmith is so completely different from many of us Lokis that it's sin to assume he's really at all the same person, even though he is. Sorta. You know what I mean? He doesn't let many people in, so it's certainly an honor when he does as he has so many tales about his life that he could probably write a book series about it. He's... refreshing. Kind of like a glass of lemonade, y'know? He's the sort of catalyst in your life that changes the way you think rather than your way of life, which is huge. That's a power not many can say they have. He's a great kisser, a great lover, a fantastic friend--seriously, he's the kind of friend that's an ally for life. You have a battle happening and he'll join your ranks without a question--and overall a remarkable person provided you can show him you're worth his time."
"A pentagram? I suppose I'd put Evelyn in there along with a slice of chocolate cake, a mug of coffee and.." he bit his lip in an attempt to stifle a grin, "Aldrich Killian's underwear."
"That sounds about ri--What?!"

"Oh, hey, handsome. Wanna join?"
[ waves a rubber duckie around as if that'll somehow convince him ]
He remained silent for a few beats before he reached up to cradle his twin's face, "It's... a long story but I give you my word: nothing related to my business will ever darken your doorstep and I will /never/ let anything follow me and find you." he tried for a reassuring smile but it quickly dimmed into a somber line, "After this war concludes, I will share some of my secrets with you."
Loki blinked a few times in succession, his brows knitting together in confusion. "What're you talking about?" He asked softly, reaching to rest one of his hands atop Liesmith's and watch him carefully. "My wards are pretty powerful. I would not worry. Has something happened? Is that why you're talking about all of this?"
He stiffened then, Unicorn was close now... close enough to notice that Liesmith's natural scent was completely absent. No leather or soap, no metallic tang of space. It was unnatural and a side effect from spending too much time in a certain dimensional plane. He hated it, it was a dark hint that not all was normal, that he dabbled in darker magics and kept more questionable company than any other incarnation of Loki. "... Have you ever feared me?" he asked quietly.
Oh, and Unicorn definitely noticed. Scent was something he caught on very quickly, as it was a sense he used the most. But even when he noticed it, he didn't remark on it, brushing it off as something with a viable explanation behind it. Frankly, he didn't want to think about it. For now, may as well blame it on the fact that he hadn't been home and just had temporarily lost his natural scent. It happens.
"No," he said, truthfully. "Why?"
Oh he had missed this, the way their easy friendship that tipped so gently into a warm sort of companionship. "I've only had time to see Anthony and Deceiver for a night or two," he admitted, "and today I can only stay for an evening." it was a terribly childish impulse, but he wrapped his arms around Unicorn's neck anyway and drew him down for a needy hug. Out of this three main companions this twin had the more peaceful life, despite the looming arch-nemesis, and Liesmith feared ruining it.
"Mm," he hummed faintly, trying not to show any displeasure at the fact that the other two had clearly gotten more time with Liesmith than he would. The smile faded some, but only a fraction, and eagerly he laced his arms around his counterpart's waist to return the hug tightly--not too tightly, of course.
With a little shake, Liesmith ruffled up his feathers than calmed before hopping inside. He shed the barn owl guide and promptly transformed into his usual form. "It's been too long, twin-mine" he admitted with a slight sheepishness then quipped, "business called then insisted I stay for for a few weeks," It was the tactful truth as he doubted his twin was interested in the messy details of warfare and politics, instead he chose to rise up onto his toes for a quick kiss. "My apologies, Lion."
"It's all right," he murmured with a half shrug. "Anthony said you'd probably be gone a while, so I mentally prepared myself as best I could." And, just like that, all was forgiven and Loki smiled softly at Liesmith, pleased enough by the kiss to lean down to steal another. "Have you visited Deceiver and everyone else?"
