Of Ravens and Friendship ||Drabble for theanthonygoldstein||
She wondered how they were doing, and if they would visit her. Padma also wondered if, given the chance to travel the world, they'd like to do that with her.
Because Padma had always wanted to travel around the world. Sure, she'd been to India several times, but that was because her grandparents insisted that she--and Parvati, too--came with them.
So here she was, seated in the attic of Whizz Hard Books, with her own memory album on her lap. Old Mrs. Bradshaw had taken her leave and business was slow today.
Oh...Padma would give her bookshelf to travel to warm and exotic lands. Preferably with a friend. Her eyes gazed over a photo that was taken when she was fourteen.
She and Tony Goldstein were smiling and laughing on said picture.
Once upon a million years ago, Padma had a small crush on him, but grew out of it. Writing was her one true love, and Tony had found his in Hermione Granger who was, admittedly, much smarter and more deserving of his love than Padma herself.
Shaking herself out of those reveries, she grinned. Maybe it wasn't all too late. Mrs. Bradshaw always insisted that Padma ought to take some time off.
Slowly, Padma closed her memory album and stood up. It had been ages since she last saw him. And he was always up for some fun or an adventure or something.
Yep, that settled it. Padma Madhari Patil was going to owl Anthony 'Tony' Goldstein to invite him along.
Besides, Padma had always done better in the company of her friends, so having Tony along's definitely a plus.
