I just wanted to remind you that

if you like the courtiers better than the actual main 6 and want them to have a route...

...you are an absolutely valid person that deserves just as much love and respect as the people who prefer the main 6. Bless your soul for being so patient with people who think you are weird for liking the side characters better.

PS: Also I want them to have their own routes but it seems like that won’t be happening. BIG SOB.

VALERIUS STANS UNITE!

So, I wrote Valerius' Love Letter (like the official ones the devs made for the 6 Love Interests only)!

I hope you'll enjoy this small gift to the fandom!

I used his official handwritting font too - the one on his Valentine/white day postcard. Unfortunately, it's not the most legible font, especially for such a long text, but wine daddy is an elitist prick that has to be deserved, isn't he?... :D

Since it's very long, it spreads on both the recto-verso - but I'll probably also make a special CG later, guys, like Valerius sitting on his balcony by sunset… ;)

Esteemed Witch,

The sun is setting on my estate, and while I look at it from a marble balcony, sitting on a velvet armchair, I find myself quite bewildered that the Château Saint-Blanc d’Or hasn’t been enough to appease my melancholic longing, despite its undeniable quality. Even the second bottle. Or the late harvest Prakran vintage I had after.

To be honest – if such a thing had ever been in my habits – I speculate that the slight intoxication that I feel is not entirely due to the wine… Ironically enough, the wine, though, may be what led me to put down on paper these words I would never have confessed while sober, even to myself.

Do you remember that very first moment we met, at the palace? I happen to think about it slightly too often for my own good. I blush uncomfortably, thinking how I made a fool of myself by spilling a pitcher full of wine on your clothes. Childish counterattack, I realize now, to what I already felt was happening: it was you who were spreading all over me, your presence flooding me, your sight submerging me.

I called you a witch, and a witch I maintain you are – no petty magician with fluffy rainbow tricks, but a true master of sorcery, something more primordial, that reaches deeper into the soul, into the very source of magic. You have bewitched me in body and soul.

Again and again, each time we met, you bound me more with your spells, while I tried to hide it – even to myself – under scorn and haughtiness.

In vain I have struggled. Now that I am defeated at your feet, how much I wish I would, one day, be able to share with you a bottle of White Stag, a renowned rare wine that is said to make lovers more… amorous.

Alas, that will never happen. I am too proud to send you this paltry letter that I will probably hide in a drawer of my desk, for your heart is certainly inclined toward a more obvious and appropriate love interest, while I am destined to always stay on the sideline of your thoughts… or am I not?...

It took me wayyy too long but it was such a learning curve to study and try to reproduce such different characters, anatomies, and most of all ways of drawing/coloring, while trying to keep them together and unified in my own style...
