Okay but like I’m always kinda amazed at how some musicals fail because when it comes to musicals, there are some pretty weird musicals.

There is a musical about a bunch of felines that gather in a junkyard and at the end, one of the felines is chosen to go kitty heaven.

That’s it.

I just described the plot of Cats.

So I honestly and truly think that you could make a musical about anything. I think it’s the execution of it. Like the Spider-Man musical? It could have possibly worked but it was in production hell for a while and then they switched directors. So they changed the story along with some of the songs and the stunts were too dangerous.

All in all, I think the issue is some directors aren’t willing to compromise on their vision.
