Wait, where did you get the info about Kelly being Trubel's mom??
I thought it was fairly obvious, given that Trubel was born in New York in 1993, Kelly Burkhardt didn’t leave New York until March 1994 - it’d be possible Marie was her mother, except for the fact that the man who she was romantically involved with at the time was Wesen (Kolt). Considering the supposed rarity of Grimms, her being unrelated seems implausible given the proximity factor, and because of the heat on Kelly at the time it doesn’t seem out of the question she’d see adoption as a safer alternative than attempting to protect not only a twelve year (or eleven year at the time) old boy and an infant.
