この本が大好きで編み物の休憩中によく見ています。読み物としてもとても面白いのです。日本で発売されたのは1979年。その時でおよそ3000年前には編み物があったとされています。いつ頃誰が最初に編み始めたのか。この本を開くたびに思います。素朴であったり繊細であったり、それぞれの時代それぞれの生活環境で様々な物が編まれてきました。それが今も変わらずに続いている。とても素敵な事です。
