idk how much more and my school doesn’t weight anything (colleges know they don’t weight stuff though)

ive always wanted to ask someone with perfect pitch this question and i forgot you had it, so yeah. does perfect pitch apply to quarter tones or do they just register as super sharp or flat to you? does perfect pitch only apply to the 12 note scale, is what im trying to say, in a non-dumb fashion

for quarter tones it’s like a mixture of the two notes it’s between. so if it’s right between B and C, i think “hey that’s like half B and half C” or something like that, as if notes are paint colors and quarter tones are mixtures of colors. if it’s a very flat quarter tone i think “that’s a mix of B and C, but there’s more B in it this time” etc. i sometimes associate notes/keys with colors but it changes really frequently, but i always know what i think for each note. 

so yeah, it registers as a quarter/whatever-you-call-smaller-ones-tones all the time for me, and never as “a very sharp B” or “a very sharp C” bc that’s somehow really hard for me to visualize.
