In short: @shopthebeardboys have sub-par communication skills and terrible customer service. Their product does not work as advertised and is faulty at best. Do not waste your time, money, or energy on this brand; if you do, you’ll surely be disappointed. Below is a more in depth look at my time spend dealing with @shopthebeardboys . I’ve been holding off for a month now on this post/review. I’ll start by saying I do not endorse or recommend this product to anyhow. There is no correlation between the picture of me and my beard, and this product. With that said, I’ll now go into detail about my experience with @shopthebeardboys I first reached out at the end of May. Around a week later they responded and were interested in sending me free product to promote them. A month later at the beginning of July they said they were shipping out the product. Another 6 weeks later the product arrived. Already, things were not off to a great start. The packaging and presentation was actually quite nice. After charging the straightener they provided, I began using it. Three minutes later, it ran out of charge and died. My beard looked exactly the same. So I charged it and tried again. This happened several times before I reached out and made them aware of the issue. They said it was a faulty product and asked when I would promote for them. I asked for a replacement and offered to ship back the faulty product. @shopthebeardboys said they would replace it. This never happened. I didn’t hear from them for a bit until they once again asked how I was liking the product. I reminded them how awful it was and said I would post a review.
