Orange: 6 facts about my home town: 

It’s one of the oldest cities in Denmark 

It used to be the capital - now it just sucks 

One of my favourite Danish authors (Johannes V. Jensen) went to the same gymnasium (kinda like the last 3 years of high school) as I did in this city

Apart from the million politicians (mostly right-wing...) this city has spawned our most famous person (at least locally) is probably Kjole-Ole (dress-Ole) who’s always traveling around on his bike in dresses he has sewn himself inspired by Alice in Wonderland - he is always very nice and polite when you meet him 

It’s quite a beautiful city but I guess it’s prettier if you’re not from here - it took me quite some time to realize until I began comparing it to other cities in Denmark 

We have two lakes that kinda separates the city into two - it’s very nice to walk around these both because of the nature that’s usually very beautiful and because of the impressive houses (one of the lakes has an area usually refered to as “the gold coast” - try to guess who lives there. Some of the houses are old and very nice, others are new, modern and awfully clinical. I’m pretty sure 50% of the inhabitors cries over their picture-postcard-homes behind the wheel of their Mercedes Benz but that’s another story.)
