1. What do you see when you look in the Mirror of Erised? (Never heard of it? What do you think it does?) Ah, that’s from Harry Potter, right? I’ve read only the first book long time ago and obviously not a fan, but I remember what it is. Well… I think I’d see myself being a successful artist, living with a big family in a lovely wooden house surrounded by a garden… Nothing unusual.
2. Quick! St. Anthony’s busy, so who do you ask when you can’t find your keys? My guardian angel, maybe?
3. Would you rather be a hermit or a missionary? Why? I’ve dreamed of becoming some kind of hermit when I was younger. But more like a Buddhist one. (You lovely people assume I’m a catholic by the stuff I post/reblog… but I am not. Or not yet, we’ll see. In fact, I’m thinking of becoming one, but that’s a tough question for me.) But the more I live the more I love people, so now I’d rather choose missionary.
4. You’re in Heaven… you get to pick ANY room mate (besides your patron saint, you hang-out so much already), which saint will it be? Why? I’ll be not very original and pick St. Therese of Lisieux just because I love her, and because she’s all little and simple and easy to imagine being friends with. But then again, she’d probably have thousands of roommates, because everybody loves her. So we live all together… or, maybe, she’d have to live every day with a different roommate!
5. The best song of your most favorite musician. Quote us a line, too! Oh no, just ONE, that’s impossible! X) Well, I really love Angelo Branduardi, and one of my favorite quotes is this one from “Vanità di vanità”:
Tutto vanità, solo vanità,
vivete con gioia e semplicità,
state buoni se potete...
tutto il resto è vanità.
If I’d ever get a tatoo, it would be these lines.
6. A genie gives you the chance to pick a sport to instantly excel in and compete in for the upcoming Olympics (Summer or Winter), which sport will you choose? Why? Oh, I don’t really like the modern competitive sport, so this chance would be useless for me. I’ll just keep doing my morning yoga.
7. You’re president of your country for a day. You can make (or overturn) THREE laws that will be strictly enforced immediately, and no one can overturn it, ever. What laws are they gonna be? I would probably ban animal testing. And alcohol. And do something to support organic farming.
8. St. Catherine of Siena, St. Teresa of Avila, St. Therese of Lisieux, and St. Hildegard of Bingen are on a road trip. Who do you think is driving, and where are they going? I think St. Teresa of Avila is driving, and they’re going to a very special music festival for saints (St. Hildegard of Bingen is playing there, for sure).
9. What version of the Holy Bible are you using? The only version I’ve read was the orthodox Bible in Old Church Slavonic.
10. Your most favorite title of Our Lady? I don’t know how to say it in English, sorry.
11. If you ever become a religious, and you have to pick a religious name, what will you pick?
*Examples: Sister Gemma of the Cross, Brother Louis of the Rosary, etc.
I feel a bit awkward answering this question as I’m only potentially catholic. But I’d probably pick the name Clare, after St. Clare of Assisi. For the rest I don’t really know.
My questions:
1. Do you fly in your dreams, and how do you do that?
2. What foreign language do you find the most beautiful?
3. The most inspiring movie you’ve ever seen?
4. How did you spend 21.12.2012?
5. What is your favorite tree? Flower? Mushroom?
6. The best book of your childhood?
7. If you could go inside of any painting, which one would it be? Why? What would you do in there?
8. Train or plane?
9. The city/town/place where you live, what’s it like?
10. How did you meet your best friend?
11. Tolstoy or Dostoevsky? (Sorry, I had to:)))
